The @CostOfHome campaign turns one-year-old today!

Habitat for Humanity International is leading efforts to urge Congress to ensure housing stability, especially through the COVID-19 pandemic. Together with other advocacy groups, we advocated for an eviction/foreclosure freeze on FHA-backed loans; as a result, Congress included a
provision in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act(CARES) stimulus package.

This November, help continue the important work of #CostOfHome and support affordable mortgages and safe homes in our communities and across the country. Pledge to vote by adding your name today.

Together we can pledge to vote in this November’s elections. We know our voices matter for home affordability and ensuring families don’t have to choose between the cost of housing and other essential needs.

By calling on candidates and elected officials at all levels of government to prioritize housing and develop robust policy plans, we can help make the #CostOfHome something everyone can afford. We encourage each other to invite others in my household, workplace and community to vote with us on Nov. 3 because together we can further the Cost of Home campaign’s goal of improving home affordability for 10 million people.
